Richland One School Wins State MATHCOUNTS Championship
Fourteen schools from across the state, along with several individual participants, battled it out to determine who was "the best of the best" in solving math problems. Crayton has placed first in the state for three out of the last four years. Overall Crayton students scored as follows: *
Sean Soni - third place Sean Soni, who placed second in the Countdown Round, has been invited to attend the national MATHCOUNTS competition as a member of the South Carolina state team. The honors for Crayton don’t end there. Rushman has been selected as the coach for the state team.
