Teacher, Classified Employee and Substitute Teacher of the Year announced at Celebration 2005

At Celebration 2005, held May 12, the following persons were named as 2005-06 award winners: District Teacher of the Year, Susan Yelverton of Satchel Ford; Classified Employee of the Year (for the second time), Andrea Williams of Gadsden; and Substitute Teacher of the year, Irene Fields of Satchel Ford. The three of them will represent Richland One at various functions in 2005-06.

The Teacher of the Year will go on to represent Richland One in the State Teacher of the Year competition. Nearly 200 employees were honored for their dedication to the district and hard work throughout the past years, including teachers, substitute teachers, classified employees and administrators.

This annual evening is filled with dining, fellowship, recognition and, most of all, celebration.
