Richland One Arts Festival To Be Held March 9 At Carolina Coliseum

The Visual and Performing Arts Department of Richland School District One invites the community to Arts Festival 2005, "Off the Walls and Into Our Lives: The Arts are For Everybody" Wednesday, March 9 at Carolina Coliseum. The program begins at 7 p.m.

This year’s participants include the Elementary Festival Choir, Honor Bands, Honor Orchestras, Honor Choruses, Honor Acting Company, Honor Dance Companies, Eau Claire dance students, Hand Creative Ticket Award performers and the Logan West African Drum and Dance Ensemble.

Student groups will perform on the concourse before the main show. Main-stage professional guests include the Faculty Jazz Band, the Capital City Chorale, and the Columbia City Ballet performing a piece from Off the Wall and Onto the Stage: Dancing The Art of Jonathan Green.
