Richland
One’s graduation ceremonies will be held according to
the following schedule:
Thursday, May 15 at 7 p.m., Adult Education, Dreher
High
Auditorium;
Friday, May 16 at 10 a.m., Pendergrass Fairwold at
the school;
Tuesday, May 20 at 10 a.m., Richland One
Alternative School, Capital Senior Center, Maxcy Gregg
Park;
Thursday,
May 22 at Carolina Coliseum: W.J. Keenan High at 10 a.m.;
Lower Richland High at 12:30 p.m.; Eau Claire High at 3:30
p.m.; and C.A. Johnson Preparatory Academy at 5:30 p.m.;
Friday,
May 23 at Carolina Coliseum: Dreher High at 8 a.m.;
Columbia High at 10:30 a.m.; and A.C. Flora High at 1 p.m.
Because
graduation is such a special time for seniors and their
families, the district has developed guidelines for
persons who will be attending graduation ceremonies. The
guidelines are designed to ensure that each graduation
ceremony is one of quite, reflective celebration and
promotes a tradition focusing on the academic
accomplishments of our graduates.
To
support graduates and their families, guests attending
district graduations are requested to adhere to the
following:

Arrive early
enough to be seated before the ceremony begins.
·
Do not leave
until the ceremony has ended.
·
Turn cell
phones and pagers off and go to the concourse to use cell
phones.
·
Be attentive
to all speakers.
