Richland School District One’s Partners in Education Foundation is hosting a gala event in honor of 144 outstanding high-school seniors from throughout the district.

The second annual Richland One Academic All-Stars Recognition Banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel, 1200 Hampton St.  Admission to the event is by invitation only.

To qualify as Academic All-Stars, students must have at least a 3.5 GPA, rank in the top 10 percent of their high school’s senior class and have no grade lower than a C on any subject completed for high-school credit. Several of the students who will be honored Thursday also meet the High School Scholars criteria.

Partners in Education is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated by the State of South Carolina.
