Hand Middle School wins South Carolina AMC 8 competition

Hand Middle School captured first place in the 19th Annual Mathematical Association of America's American Mathematics Competition (AMC) 8 state competition.

Top scoring students were Nick Adkins, Noah Fram and Macon Morris. Additionally, Adkins was the individual first-place winner in the state.

Their coach is Shannon Bowers. 

This is the second consecutive year that a Richland One school has won the team top honors and a Richland One student has won the individual competition.
