A.C. Flora Senior Named Jefferson
Scholar
Grayson
Lambert, a senior at A.C. Flora High
School, has been awarded the prestigious Jefferson
Scholarship for study at the University of
Virginia. The merit-based scholarship covers
the entire cost of attending the university
for the next four years.
Grayson ranks at the top of his
class at A.C. Flora High School and has been
named a National Merit Scholarship Program
finalist. He has served his school as student
body president, co-captain of the varsity golf
team, president of the Republican Club, and
a National Honor Society member. He has demonstrated
his excellence both as a leader and as a community
volunteer.
Jefferson
Scholars are selected annually from a nation-wide
pool of approximately 800 nominees. Grayson
was chosen as one of 44 recipients of a diverse
group of students who have excelled in a wide
area of endeavors inside and outside of the
classroom.
