Elementary School schedules parent information
sessions
Brockman Elementary School, a public Montessori
School in Richland District One, is holding
parent information sessions regarding enrolling
children for 3K –Grade 3 for 2004-2005
school year. Applicants are chosen through
random selection.
Brockman is a school of choice for parents
residing in the Satchel Ford, Bradley and Brennen
Elementary Schools’ attendance zones.
Students must be age three by March 1, 2004,
for the half-day morning program, and all other
students must be the required age by September
1, 2004, for the full-day programs, 4K-Grade
3.
Students will be accepted for grades 4 and
5 only if they are transferring from another
Montessori school.
Interested parents must attend one, one-hour
parent information session to learn about Brockman
and Montessori education, to learn about the
application process and receive an application
and to learn about tuition requirements for
3K and 4K students, including a sliding scale
and waivers for eligible students.
The application process is not on a first
come, first served basis. All applications
(with proper documentations) are due by Feb.
15, 2004. The random selection procedure will
be processed in late February.

between the hours of 8 a.m.-3 p.m., one week
prior to a session. Session dates are:
3K, 4K and 5K, Dec. 9 at 8 a.m.; Jan.
12 at noon; and Jan. 29 at 5:30 p.m.; and grades
1-5, Jan. 14 at 8 a.m. and Feb. 2 at noon.
