Logan Elementary Students Spread Holiday Cheer to Senior Citizens

After saving their nickels, dimes and quarters for weeks, students in the after-school program at Logan Elementary pooled their money to throw a Christmas party for residents of the Wardlaw Senior Citizens Apartment Building on Wednesday, December 12. The students adopted residents of the senior citizens home and spent the afternoon with them singing Christmas carols and enjoying party treats. The students used the money they saved to buy gifts for the residents. The Logan after-school program is a joint project of Richland One and the Richland County Recreation Commission.

For more information please contact the Richland One Office of Communications at 231-7504 or 231-7510.
