For 21 Consecutive Years Richland One Receives Highest National Financial Reporting/Accounting Honors

The numbers add up to excellence for Richland One’s Finance Office. For the 21st consecutive year, Richland One has been awarded the nation’s highest honors in government financial reporting and accounting.

The Government Finance Officers Association and the American Association of School Business Officials bestow the awards upon the government agency for the best Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008. To qualify for these national awards the district must have a "clean" audit report or unqualified opinion. This attainment represents a significant accomplishment by the Richland One Board of School Commissioners and its management team.
