Richland One to Host Post-Secondary Fair

For thousands of Richland One high school juniors and seniors, the clock is ticking toward graduation and they will face the inevitable questions: What will I do after graduation? Should I go to college or technical school? Is the military an option or will I have to start looking for a job right away? On Thursday, November 13 Richland One will host its annual Post-Secondary Education Fair to help anxious students, and their parents, sort out the options and be better prepared for the future.

The fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carolina Coliseum, 701 Assembly Street. Students will start arriving by bus at 8:45 a.m.

In all, about 3,000 Richland One students will have the opportunity to network with representatives from 150 colleges, universities, military services, businesses and agencies from across the nation. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend as well so that they can help their children make informed decisions about their futures after high school.

For more information please contact the Richland One Office of Communications at 231-7504 or 231-7510.
