Columbia High Seeking 1,000 Alumni To Attend Football Game

Their football rivalry is legendary in Richland One: the mighty Columbia High School Capitals vs. the daring Dreher High School Blue Devils. In honor of its 125-year anniversary, Columbia High School is inviting all alumni (students and faculty) to participate in a half-time celebration on Thursday, September 4 as the Capitals battle long-time rival Dreher at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium, 100 Airport Boulevard.

Columbia High organizers hope to have at least 1,000 Capitals parade across the field at half-time. Participants are asked to wear maroon and gold, the school colors. Anyone who would like more information should contact the school office at 731-8950 or e-mail Pat Scott at pscott@richlandone.org.
