Three Richland One Schools Win First Place at Odyssey of the Mind Competition, Advance to World Finals

Richland One congratulates Lewis Greenview Elementary, Brockman Elementary and Keenan High schools as first-place winners in the 2009 State Odyssey of the Mind Competition held on March 21 at Keenan High School. They now advance to the World Finals which will be held on the campus of Iowa State University May 27-30.

The first-place winning teams are listed below:


Lewis Greenview Elementary School (two first-place teams)

The Odyssey of the Mind is an international education program which requires students to be creative quick thinkers in solving problems ranging from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. Thousands of teams from around the world from kindergarten through college compete for local, state and world honors.
