DISTRICT ACCEPTING HALL OF FAME NOMINATIONS
Richland One is accepting nominations for its 2008 Hall of Fame induction class. The Richland One Hall of Fame honors distinguished alumni and other persons who have made significant contributions to the district, their communities, their professions and society as a whole.
The district has inducted 21 persons into the Richland One Hall of Fame since it was established in 2004. The 2007 inductees were: Dr. Alma W. Byrd, Mayor Bob Coble, the late Charlie Dickerson and Sen. Kay Patterson.
Hall of Fame nominees may be alumni of Richland One schools or non-district alumni, living or deceased. Current district employees and current school board members are not eligible for induction.
Nominations must be submitted to the Richland One Office of Communications by 5 p.m. Friday, May 30. Eligibility criteria and nomination forms may be downloaded from the district’s Web site at www.richlandone.org; click on the Hall of Fame link.
