Two Richland One Students Win 2008 National Achievement Program Scholarships

Two Richland One students have won college scholarships through the 2008 National Achievement Scholarship Program.

Geneena G. Donaldson, a Columbia High School senior, and Alexx E. Niblock, a senior at W.J. Keenan High School, will be awarded $2,500 college scholarships this spring.

The honor recognizes outstanding African-American high school seniors who are the highest scorers in their state on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Winners must have a record of high academic performance in high school, be endorsed and recommended by the school principal, earn highSAT scores and be actively involved in his or her
school and community.
