DISTRICT TO HOLD MEETING ON REALIGNMENT OF INTERSECTION NEAR DREHER HIGH

Richland One will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 21, in the Dreher High media center to provide information to the community about the S.C. Department of Transportation’s plans to realign the intersection of Ott and Adger roads near Dreher.

The SCDOT project will focus on improving safety for persons who walk, bike or drive through the Ott/Adger intersection. Making the changes will require land currently owned by Richland One and the removal of one or more trees to create the space to widen and realign the intersection.

Richland One has been working with the SCDOT on the roll-out of the project for several months. Although the intersection realignment is not a Richland One project, the district has scheduled the meeting to make sure area residents are informed about it.
