SCHOOL BOARD SEEKS COMMUNITY INPUT ON SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH

Getting input from the community will be the first step in the Richland One school board’s upcoming superintendent search.

Three forums will be held later this month to give community members an opportunity to share their opinions on the search as well as the qualities they believe the Board should look for in selecting a new superintendent.

The meetings will be led by BWP & Associates, which is headquartered in Libertyville, IL. The Board voted at its February 12 meeting to hire the firm to conduct the superintendent search.

The community input forums are scheduled as follows:

* Monday, February 25 - Olympia Learning Center auditorium, 621 Bluff Rd., 6 p.m.
* Wednesday, February 27 - Eau Claire High School commons area, 4800 Monticello Rd., 6 p.m.
* Thursday, February 28 - Lower Richland High School auditorium, 2615 Lower Richland Blvd., Hopkins, 6 p.m.
