Richland One, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia, and Communities In Schools of the Midlands have joined forces to assist Midlands children by recruiting at least 50 new volunteers by March 2008.

The joint project, aptly named "Someone to Count On," is seeking mentors, Lunch Buddies and tutors to volunteer with youth in Richland and Lexington counties.
