Mission Statement
Richland One Middle College at Midlands Technical College will improve student learning by providing all students with a rigorous and relevant academic program. Richland One Middle College will provide all students with increased learning opportunities that ensure students will develop a strong academic foundation and the technical and personal skills necessary to make a successful transition from high school to their post-secondary pursuit.

The Richland One Middle College at Midlands Technical College is designed to increase learning opportunities by providing a new choice for rising eleventh-grade students. The purpose of the school is to connect students to a successful high school experience that will prepare them for "life after high school." Located on the Midlands Technical College Beltline campus, students will have the opportunity to learn in a collegiate environment, utilize state of the art technology, participate in paid internship opportunities and gain a head start on earning college course credits.

Interested in Applying?
Students eligible to attend the school are those who:

  • Qualify as rising eleventh graders
  • Reside in the Richland District One attendance zone
  • Complete the Richland One Middle College Application
