MAINTENANCE SERVICES

Maintenance Services maintains all District facilities and grounds in a safe and attractive status and keeps all mechanical, electrical, and water systems functioning to ensure the academic learning process is conducted with minimum disruption. A diverse group of craft and trade employees is utilized to maintain the District's facilities and equipment in more than 220 buildings at 60 locations encompassing more than 445 acres of land. 

Maintenance Services provides structural and mechanical repair capabilities including:

roofing/sheet metal carpentry plumbing
electrical painting welding
masonry glazing HVAC
grounds maintenance horticulture signs
pest control custodial training welding

Maintenance Services provides an employee continuing education program and a school-to-work program for their department members. During a fiscal year, Maintenance Services receives and processes 12,000 work requests.
