2008 Richland One Substitute of the Year Program Nomination Process
Richland School District One is sponsoring the Substitute Teacher of the Year Program. The purpose of this program is to recognize one substitute each year for outstanding contributions to the school district. This award is open to all substitute teachers who have been employed with Richland School District One for at least 12 months. For complete details on the nomination procedure, please review the General Information section.
Also included in this process are: a nomination form (SUB-1) and a nominee questionaire (SUB-2). The nominiation form must be used to submit the name of a substitute teacher who you believe is worthy of this award. Please complete the form to the best of your ability. The critical section on this form is the one where you are asked to provide a complete description of the employee's qualifications for this award. It is important that you include as many details as you can to support your nomination. Don't forget to sign the nomination form. Unsigned nomination forms will not be considered.
Please have the nominee complete and sign the nominee questionaire. This form must accompany the nomination form when submitted.
2008 Substitute Employee of the Year nomination materials must be submitted in one envelope, containing forms SUB-1, SUB-2. The materials must be received by the Substitute Center no later than 5:00 p.m. April 10, 2008. Nominations will not be accepted after that time. The award will be presented at the Richland One Celebration event on May 8, 2008.
Schools, if they wish, may select only one representative from their location.
