Richland One Open 5K Run/Fitness Walk

At Memorial Track/Owens Field
October 14, 2009

The 2nd Annual Richland One Open 5K Run/Fitness Walk is sponsored by Richland One Athletics and coordinated by Hall of Fame Track and Cross Country Coach and President of the South Carolina Track and Cross Country Coaches Association, Daniel Brooks of Dreher High School. The Kid’s Fun Run and the Open 5K Race/Fitness Walk will be held after the Richland County School District One Cross Country Championships.Elementary, middle, and high school teachers, students and district staff are encouraged to participate.

Event Schedule
Packet Pick-up or registration

4:00 pm
High School Championships 4:30 pm
Kid's Fun Run (800-1500 meters) 5:00 pm
5K Run/Fitness Walk (3.1 miles) 5:15 pm
Awards 6:15 pm

 

Open 5K Run Awards & Age Groups
Age Group Awards: will be presented to the top three finishers in each age category:
20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+

Registration Fees:
ALL FEES WILL BE PAID ON RACE DAY
5K Run/Walk - $5 RCSD1 employee's; $10 non district
Kid's FunRun - Free (K-8th grade)
Please register by 10/13/09, but pay fees on race day)

All participants will receive a certificate of participation and a t-shirt.
